Commercial fixed-wire testing assesses the condition of electrical installations in offices, shops, hospitality venues, warehouses and other workplaces. It covers distribution equipment, final circuits, protective measures and accessible fixed wiring, with findings recorded in an EICR.

Can testing be completed outside normal hours?
Yes, where agreed. Out-of-hours working and site supervision should be included in the programme and quotation.
How long does commercial testing take?
Circuit count, distribution-board quantity, access and permitted outages determine the duration.
Is PAT testing included?
No. Fixed-wire testing and in-service electrical equipment testing are separate scopes.
