Too few sockets or badly placed controls
Extension leads and adaptors often appear when a home no longer has enough usable outlets for modern equipment.

How we carry out the work
Inspect the immediate fault
We start with the affected fitting or circuit, then test far enough back through the installation to identify the cause rather than replacing parts at random.
Agree the least disruptive solution
Where a safe repair is possible, we explain it. If the circuit needs an upgrade or replacement, we set out why and what areas will be affected.
Install, test and label
New work is inspected and electrically tested before it is put into service. Relevant labels and certification are supplied for the work completed.

Can you complete several small jobs in one visit?
Yes. Send a list and photographs where possible so we can allow the right time and bring suitable materials.
Do you repair work installed by somebody else?
Yes, subject to inspection and testing. We cannot assume concealed or undocumented work is sound without checking it.
Will you need to turn all the power off?
Often only the affected circuit needs isolation, although work at the consumer unit can require a wider outage. We explain this before starting.
