Structured data cabling provides reliable wired links between a central cabinet or router and network outlets, access points, cameras, phones and other equipment. Cable category alone does not guarantee performance. Route, bend radius, separation, termination and testing matter.
A useful installation starts with device positions, switch capacity, Power over Ethernet needs and future outlets. Patch panels and labels make later changes much easier than unidentified loose cables.

Data & Network Cabling questions
Is Cat6 always enough?
It suits many installations, but required speed, distance, environment and future plans determine the specification.
Can data cable run beside mains cable?
Separation and containment should be planned to reduce interference and comply with the wiring system requirements.
Do you configure routers and switches?
Permanent cabling and basic connectivity can be tested. Managed network configuration can be included or handled by an IT provider.
